The Dandelion Nutrition Agency

we are committed to the protection and promotion of Taraxacum officinale and work to modify public opinion on the place of the dandelion amongst our valued native flora. We advocate for the dandelion in the face of Pristine Lawn Syndrome and make known the overlooked truths about products that flood the horticultural market before flooding our soils and watercourses with irreversible negative impact

As an imaginary organisation, the Dandelion Nutrition Agency can manifest in various forms and act as a platform for raising awareness around themes we explore within our practice, namely rewilding for domestic gardens; edible wild plants; biodiversity restoration, and fossil fuel consumption in food production and horticulture. The monocultures of industrial agriculture are now understood as sterile environments that hinder soil health and biodiversity, and in doing so, demand constant reapplication of fertilisers, but we are not so ready to view the gardens we are so proud of and work hard to maintain, as contributing in equal impact to the degradation of what can still be called natural environment
